Digital photoelastic instrumentIntroduction:
The experimental method is to use optically sensitive materials to create a model that is similar to the actual object. Under the action of dynamic load, circularly polarized light is used to irradiate and directly record the stress contour lines in the model on the imaging floor. This is an optical measurement method that can truly reflect the information and laws of the blasting process. The state photoelastic method is used to study the dynamic stress and stress wave propagation laws inside elastic bodies, which can provide experimental basis for theoretical research and engineering applications of transient stress phenomena. Significant contributions have been made in the propagation of stress waves and dynamic stress concentration under impact loads, as well as the propagation process and laws of cracks in structures, which have been widely applied in many fields such as aerospace, mechanical manufacturing, civil engineering, etc.
